Maine Quilter is my latest dream-come-true. Sewing has been a huge part of my life since Junior High School, but I didn’t begin quilting in earnest until 1994, when I was awarded an Emerging Artist Grant. That enabled me to build a “stash” and quilt to my heart’s content. As is so often the case, life happens and I had to turn my attention to alterations and custom sewing. After several years of this, I went to nursing school and began my nursing career. Now I have retired from nursing and have been spending much of my time engaged in some aspect of quilting. Maine Quilter is my retirement plan that will allow me to quilt, travel, and create beautiful designs to warm body and soul.
